As a parent, you’ve probably realised how quickly the time goes by when you have children and throughout the first year of your baby’s life, they will reach a lot of different milestones.
As a Cotswolds photographer, I offer milestone sessions so you can look back and remember such a precious time in your families life… from sitting for the first time to their first birthday, first steps and all the amazing moments in between.
What to Expect From Our Session
From simplistic sitter sessions to a birthday cake smash, each includes family photos for you to remember these moments together. Included in your session I always offer a pre-session consultation, full use of my Cotswold photography studio wardrobe and styling advice.
You will receive ten lovingly edited images, chosen from your unique viewing gallery. So come spend the morning with me in my natural light studio, nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds. I will take care of you and your growing little one.
The time we spend together will be relaxed, fun and filled with laughter, from the moment you arrive at the studio to leaving as newly made friends.
As each session is tailor-made for you and your family, you’ll have the studio to yourselves for as long as we need. From having time for a cuppa and natter to outfit and background changes, and plenty of time for snuggles with your little one whenever they might need a little comfort. The result is an adorable gallery of stunning and love-filled images.

Sitter Session
The first time your little one holds themself up without any assistance is a pretty groundbreaking moment, right? It is so magical to see your once tiny baby developing strength and not needing as much support from their mama!
Sitter sessions are lovely because your little one usually has a lot more expression and can move around a lot more, expressing their unique personality that I love capturing through milestone photography.
Cake Smash
The messy one! But it is so much fun.
Little one’s absolutely love cake smashes once they warm to their environment and get digging into the cake because, in the moment of them destroying the cake and eating it, I capture all of their sweetest and funniest expressions!
Who doesn’t love a treat? Well, your little one would definitely enjoy the sweet goodness. The fun they have in making a mess and doing what they do best without being stopped makes for a great activity for them and the best photos for you to look back on.
Plus, I’ll provide a delicious vanilla cake made by a local business, cake toppers and decorations to fully make the most of the birthday celebrations.
First Steps
Probably even more emotional than your little one sitting for the first time on their own… their first steps! Now you know they have so much more independence and are ready to cause a riot! But, you wouldn’t have it any other way.
One day you will miss the chasing around, as well as forget the emotion you felt when they took their first steps, so what better time to capture them walking around the studio, through milestone photography?

I truly believe that all of the different expressions your little one makes every day as they grow are milestones. The faces they pull that make you swoon and laugh you will one day forget. It really shows off their cheeky and sweet personalities.
